About the Role
Carrier Enterprise (CE) is seeking an experienced Commercial Controls Manager to join a leading national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, parts, and supplies. The successful candidate will be part of a team that excels in providing top-notch HVAC/R solutions through licensed HVAC/R dealers and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Provide a primary resource for customers to answer controls questions
- Assist in operating the existing Certified Controls Expert Contractor Programs
- Maintain Technician Certification documentation and establish training & testing requirements
- Assist in conducting training classes for the sales & installation of Carrier controls systems for dealers
- Attract elite contractor memberships in the Factory Controls Authorization Program
- Supports roll out new controls products to the Controls Expert dealers
- Grow the Carrier Commercial Controls presence in the assigned Carrier Enterprise region(s)
- Manage the interface between the factory and customers
- Travel throughout the assigned region(s) to provide support to Carrier controls dealers
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in a technical discipline
- 5 years of experience in HVAC Systems Controls support
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC systems Controls support
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers in a clear and concise manner
- Proficiency in using remote support tools and software to diagnose and resolve customer issues
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service and resolving customer problems effectively
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to identify and resolve technical issues
- Familiarity with HVAC commercial systems Controls Software, ideally i-Vu
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, coordinating efforts with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple customer cases simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on new HVAC technologies, products, and industry trends
