About the role
This is an individual contributor role. ClarityPay is a data-centric organization using data to differentiate its solutions as well as help its clients be more successful. The Manager of Commercial Analysis and Reporting will transform data into actionable insights that drive new merchant growth, program performance, and client success.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and performance issues across merchant programs.
- Maintain data to track performance goals and plans.
- Maintain commercial volume plans and forecasts.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to track program health and outcomes.
- Develop, maintain, and automate reporting solutions for internal and external clients.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights tailored to diverse audiences.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources, including internal systems, other departments, third-party tools, and market research.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reporting deliverables.
- Contribute to client reviews by presenting data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with client management to strengthen client relationships through analytics.
- Provide consultative support to merchants on leveraging data for improved outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI in analytics and reporting.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with corporate data and analytics team on strategy, methodology, and tools.
- Provide requirements to corporate data and analytics team for commercial needs.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Capable of quickly learning ClarityPay products, processes, data, and other key information important for being successful in this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Driven curiosity and desire to understand the problem or opportunity.
- 7+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, or business intelligence.
- Awareness of AI tools and able to recommend opportunities to leverage AI.
- Prefer experience in credit, lending, or payments.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and SQL.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence senior leaders.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and project tracking tools.
- Ability to work in the mid-town office 4 days per week. Ability to travel if needed. Expect very limited travel.

Pay
Salary Range: $85,000 to $115,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
