Job Summary and Qualifications

You will coordinate clinical services for the Pharmacy Department staff, including training, certification, and monitoring of drug therapy, using pharmacokinetics, communication skills, computer applications, and continuous quality improvement to enhance patient outcomes. You must have:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy, or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice through an academic training program or hospital pharmacy internship.
  • A PGY1 or general practice Hospital Pharmacy Residency (preferred).
  • Experience with various drug distribution systems.
  • Supervisory experience with pharmacy technicians.
  • Knowledge of TJC requirements, Quality Improvement, and Quality Monitoring for Pharmacy Services.
