About the role
You will have 24-hour responsibility for assigned patient care areas and will promote professional practice, and coordinate patient care activities in areas of administration, clinical, and human resources. This position requires an advanced level of management expertise as demonstrated through leadership, departmental functioning and educational preparation. You will plan and facilitate program development, fiscal planning and management of the services; direct and coordinate the activities of Cardiac and Neuro-diagnostic Services, to include Cardiac Cath Lab, Telemetry Monitoring, EKG, ECHO and EEG and OP Cardiology Services. You will establish departmental procedures within the framework established by the Hospital Administration and coordinate the needs established by the Medical Staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in related field required
- Active Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
- Minimum of 5 years of cardiology supervisory/ management experience required
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience in adult echocardiography required
- Must be self-motivated, forward thinking, with extensive knowledge of imaging services and hospital services
