Manager of Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Summary
Maintains proficiencies for all technical duties involved with diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in the Cardiovascular Center.
Responsible for assisting the director in providing support to clinical staff and physicians to enable the operations of the Cardiovascular Center to run as smoothly as possible on a daily basis.
Responsible for the quality of care provided consistent with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the organization.
Provides leadership and management of the staff in the implementation of departmental processes.
Participates in and materially influences the selection, development, discipline, and evaluation of staff.
Responsible for the daily flow of procedures in the Cath/EP Lab, IOU, and Nuclear Cardiology departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
- BLS and ACLS certified
- 3 + years of applicable experience
