Responsibilities

• Devise student schedules to prescribe individual trajectory plans
• Ensure adequate class size (student-teacher ratio)
• Monitor timely submission of all English for Specific Purposes (ESP) materials to the counselor
• Assist in the scheduling and accountability of instructors
• Review Outcome Measurement System (OMS) reports, both Center and Student Pay Allotment, and Management Information System (SPAMIS) reports for accuracy
• Assist in the development of Corrective Action Plans as needed
• Monitor all TABE, General Education Diploma Testing, and WIN usage
• Review General Education Diploma pre/post-test results to determine readiness
• Assist General Education Diploma instructors in developing remedial instruction
• Assist in and monitor incentives, merit points, and the distribution of awards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Valid State driver’s license

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, peers, students, and the general public
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane, solid geometry, and trigonometry
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
