As our Nursing Manager, you will be a dynamic leader, guiding and empowering our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence. Every day, you will lead and mentor Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, and advocate for patient and team needs, driving professional development and achieving unit goals. You'll embody accountability and confidence with superior communication skills for all interactions, skillfully navigating challenges to ensure individual performance and overall unit success.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Responsibilities
- Supervises assigned professional, technical, and clerical staff of the department to ensure the quality of work.
- Manages the workflow of the unit to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
- Implements and supports staffing patterns and ensures availability of sufficient qualified staff to meet patient care needs.

- Develops and retains highly skilled and well-rounded staff including hiring, orienting, training, directing work, evaluating performance, and assuring clinical competency.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required upon hire).
- Minimum of 3 years RN experience (required upon hire).
- Minimum of 2 years leadership (e.g., RN-Charge) experience (required upon hire; equivalent leadership capabilities may be considered with executive leadership approval).
- Registered Nurse licensure in Kentucky (required upon hire).
- Basic Life Support - CPR (required upon hire).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 90 days).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (required within 6 months).
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (required within 12 months).
Preferred Qualifications
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification (preferred upon hire).

Pay
$41.97 - $62.43 per hour.
