Manager - Nursing

Responsibilities

• Assume 24-hour administrative responsibility for the management of all nursing service functions in assigned units.
• Supervise, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the delivery of patient care.
• Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current regulations.
• Supervise and evaluate all personnel assigned to the unit and effectively utilize nursing personnel, time responsibilities for the unit.
• Directly accountable to the CNO/DON.
• Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally.
• Consult with staff, physicians, and Nurse Executive on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of two years supervisory/management experience.
• Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred.

Pay

Compensation estimate: $88,483.20 to $119,100.80. Exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
