Manager, NA Procurement - Wood Protection

About the role

As Manager, NA Procurement – Wood Protection, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing procurement strategies that strengthen Arxada’s Wood Protection business across North America. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, enhance supply resilience, unlock sustainable value, and enable long-term business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for key raw material categories across US sites, with opportunities to support broader regional and global initiatives
• Drive supplier selection, negotiations, and contracting to optimize total cost of ownership and supply reliability
• Develop and execute category strategies that improve quality, service, innovation, and sustainability performance
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify supply risks, implement mitigation plans, and ensure continuity of supply
• Deliver measurable cost savings and value creation through structured sourcing and negotiation activities
• Build strong, collaborative supplier relationships, including performance management and continuous improvement
• Champion sustainability, compliance, and ESG initiatives across the supplier base

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working in regulated industries and complex supply chains preferred
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies
• Congfident communicator with a results-driven, resilient, and improvement-focused mindset

Pay

The expected salary range for this role is $106,000 - $129,000K $, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
