About the role
The Mobile Site Manager will be responsible for managing service sites across a specific region, ensuring smooth operations, high levels of customer fulfillment, and compliance with safety standards. This role involves significant travel and requires a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Safety and Compliance: Establish and oversee safety practices and protocols, ensuring compliance with Vestas’s organizational standards and safety regulations.
- Operational Effectiveness: Cultivate a culture of safety, structure, and continuous improvement. Communicate change management effectively to stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of Service Technicians, ensuring compliance with safety training and certifications. Build internal and external partnerships.
- Customer Relations: Interface with customers, address inquiries, and collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues. Ensure all contractual obligations are met.
- Financial Management: Manage site budgets, cost allocations, and operational revenues. Input and ensure accurate data in systems like Salesforce and SAP.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop and deliver continuous improvement plans. Implement LEAN practices at the site.
- Technical Assistance: Provide technical support to Service Technicians for diagnosing and resolving issues. Ensure team adherence to work instructions and propose improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Valid driver’s license required; ability to obtain a passport.
- Experience in P&L management.
- Experience managing safety programs.
- Advanced computer operation and internet-based program navigation skills.

Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Hearing ability to use telephones, close range radios or related device.
- Visual acuity including depth perception, field of vision, and the ability to distinguish between colors.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed, as well as visual-motor coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to climb stairs & vertical ladders to heights of 60 to 100 meters and at times supervise work in confined space environments.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to, but not more than 50 lbs. in weight.
- Ability to observe training and obtain certification in required safety programs that include LOTO, Electrical, Fall Arrest & High Angle Emergency Decent, and Confined Space.
- Ability to complete all training courses, including controlled decent practical exercises.

Pay
This is a 100% travel position. Salary is commensurate with experience.

This is a 100% travel position. You may be assigned to any service site within your designated region and occasionally to sites in other regions based on business needs.
