Job Details
This group provides M&A advisory services for both the buy and sell sides in addition to a broad portfolio of financial planning advisory services. This includes strategic options analysis, target selection/evaluation, transaction facilitation and negotiation, due diligence support, and post-transaction integration training.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-complexity work streams and ensure deliverables are accurate, insightful, and aligned with client goals.
- Apply project management principles to schedule, coordinate, and monitor work streams, including budgets, team performance, and project dependencies.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
- Translate data into meaningful insights and clear visualizations that support client understanding.
- Identify and define complex problems; analyze underlying issues and develop feasible, reasoned solutions.
- Present components of deliverables to clients, respond to questions on assigned content, and coordinate follow-up communications.
- Audit methodologies to fit specific client needs and identify risks requiring escalation.
- Formulate strategic objectives and priorities across multiple projects.
- Identify opportunities to advance organizational goals.
- Adapt standard methods to meet the needs of each project.
- Identify project risks and contingencies, escalating when needed.
- Develop new insights and solutions for common project challenges.
- Identify and research potential market opportunities.
- Engage in outreach and relationship-building activities as a representative of ECG.
- Participate in creating marketing materials, pitch decks, and proposals.
- Contribute to business-winning activities.
- Support operational improvements, practice development, and initiatives that strengthen the firm’s competitive position.
Qualifications
- CPA required
- Master’s degree in business administration preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare financial due diligence and transaction advisory services
- Experience preparing detailed reports and performing complex analyses, including analysis of cash flows, quality of earnings, working capital, potential liabilities and risks, and the impact of findings on the purchase price of the target organization
- Experience advising clients on how to maximize opportunities and minimize risks related to mergers and acquisitions and provide recommendations in the context of deal structuring alternatives
- Demonstrated record of solving complex problems, managing individuals, and completing challenging projects
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, professional writing, and structured communication
- Strong project management capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and analytical tools; ability to build or enhance models with minimal oversight
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professionalism, sound judgment, and strong interpersonal skills with both internal teams and clients
- Commitment to mentoring junior team members and contributing to a positive culture
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

Pay
The estimated base salary range for this job is $150000.00 - $188000.00 annually. It represents a good faith estimate of the range that ECG reasonably expects to pay at the time of the job posting.
Schedule
Full time/exempt
Job Locations
Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, San Diego, or Washington, DCHybrid work schedule, with a minimum of two days per week in office when not traveling for a client engagement
