About the role
The Manager, Media Services (USA) will be a key member of the FIFA26 Operations team, working closely with Accreditation, Accommodation, Transport, Catering, Broadcaster Servicing and other key individuals responsible for planning, delivering and managing Media Services for 4000+ national and international media expected to attend the FIFA World Cup.
Responsibilities
- Support the Media Services team with implementing a comprehensive media servicing strategy for all US host cities of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
- Uphold a consistent delivery of services across the 11 US host cities, ensuring a standardized experience for all accredited media.
- Support media representatives in planning their travels, obtaining visas, customs procedures, etc.
- Support in the planning and implementation of media services, including accommodation, transport, catering, etc.
- Support with the preparation of informational material for the media regarding operations and services, including media advisories, stadium maps and more.
- Support in developing a monthly newsletter service targeting all media representatives registered on the FIFA Media Hub.
- Review media applications for access to the FIFA Media Hub and manage inquiries in the media inbox.
- Liaise with the Host Cities Media Manager to define and support media-dedicated services in the US host cities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Higher education qualification in media or sports event management
- 3+ years’ experience in the sports industry, with an emphasis on media operations & services
- 3-5 years’ experience in sports project management, preferably in football
Skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project)
- Proficient in planning software and online collaboration tools
