Manager, Material Planning (OSS) (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the OSS planning team for career development
• Create inventory management and materials optimization strategies
• Create standardized processes and tools for materials planning
• Manage forecasting methods utilizing SAP and other systems
• Track market trends and demand indicators
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand
• Oversee inventory control and maintain stock levels
• Enhance materials planning technology and processes
• Implement metrics to measure progress and drive improvements
• Ensure effective demand management and mitigate supplier risks
• Prepare and present demand and supply review materials to leadership

Qualifications

• University Degree with 8+ years experience or Advanced Degree with 5+ years experience
• Experience in Supply Chain or Material Planning
• Customer-facing experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Products, especially Excel, and ERP systems like SAP
