Manager, Managed Care Operations

About the role

The Contract Manager is responsible for contract analytics of the top national accounts relating to Commercial Contract, Medicare Part D, and Medical Claims. This includes timely and accurate analyses of payments to identify trends and validate that adjudicating payments align with contracted terms and conditions. The role supports Sanofi’s business units, including General Medications and Specialty, by presenting analysis to management and business partners on a monthly or quarterly basis to support account performance measurements.

The candidate will collaborate closely with the Contract Operations Senior Manager and counterparts in Contract Development, Strategy, and IT, while contributing to the transformation of care for people with immune challenges, rare diseases, cancers, and neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of national contracts, including analyzing terms and conditions, setting up contracts, updating for amendments, and ensuring accurate claims adjudication.
  • Analyze rebate payments using reporting tools and third-party data sources to compare quarterly (or monthly) sales, rebates, and market share trends.
  • Lead account manager meetings to provide insights into top accounts and products.
  • Partner with Contract Development and account management to operationalize complex or value-based contracts.
  • Research and develop reports for General Medications and Specialty quarterly Finance reserve meetings.
  • Support ad hoc requests and participate in customer meetings and audits as required.
  • Interact with Account Managers, Contract Development, Accounts Payable, and Brand Teams as necessary.
  • Support departmental projects and comply with all SOX requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of work experience, with 2 years in an operations role preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional manner and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Model N experience preferred.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to superior quality work.
  • Strong sense of commitment, teamwork, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
