What You Will Do
- Lead and coach the maintenance team to safely maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve plant equipment and facilities.
- Drive preventive, predictive, and precision maintenance programs while tracking key performance metrics to improve equipment reliability.
- Oversee capital projects, maintenance budgets, contractor activities, and engineering initiatives to improve plant performance and efficiency.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to implement continuous improvement initiatives, reduce downtime, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Provide engineering oversight for plant infrastructure, including boilers, HVAC, compressed air, utilities, and facility systems while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, environmental, and safety standards while supporting audits, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement efforts.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 4-5 years of engineering or maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing preferred.
- Experience leading maintenance, capital projects, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of industrial equipment, utilities, preventive maintenance systems, and environmental compliance.
- Strong analytical, project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and drive results.
- CAD/CAM experience preferred.
