Job Summary
We’re looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead facility and equipment maintenance operations, maximize production uptime, and support future growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the maintenance team and establish work priorities, assignments, and performance expectations.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment, machinery, tools, and facility systems.
- Maximize equipment uptime and ensure maintenance activities support production schedules.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs in partnership with Engineering and Operations.
- Direct equipment installation, dismantling, assembly, rebuilding, and repurposing.
- Manage spare-parts inventory, requisitions, and availability.
- Support facility expansion and equipment planning with site leadership.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to resolve maintenance issues and improve equipment performance.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to guide maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Build team capability through cross-training, coaching, performance management, and technical development.
- Promote Chromalloy’s safety policies, quality standards, and Code of Ethical Standards.
- Cook up with environmental and regulatory agencies as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- A High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of maintenance, facilities, or related technical experience, including supervisory experience.
- Experience maintaining production equipment and facility systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance planning.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
- Working knowledge of workplace safety, hazardous-material, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, prioritization, and cross-functional communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, industrial technology, or a related field.
- Experience in aerospace, aviation maintenance, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience with wastewater treatment systems and environmental regulatory agencies.
- Knowledge of FAA Repair Station, ISO, or similar quality-management requirements.
