Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
- Utilizes leadership skills to promote a safe and collaborative work environment for all team members
- Oversees housekeeping activities for the shop, ensuring organization and promoting excellence
- Implements spare parts organization and a robust spare parts tracking system
- PARTNERS WITH THE MAINTENANCE TEAM TO ENSURE THE APPROPRIATE MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL SKILL SETS ARE DEVELOPED OR ACQUIRED
- Develops improvement processes to reduce cost and improve plant operating efficiency
- Maintains cost control to support facility and organizational goals
- TAKES ON ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS ASSIGNED TO SUPPORT THE TEAM AND ORGANIZATION
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering (required)
Experience
- 10+ years of manufacturing/industrial experience (required)
- 5+ years of maintenance supervision experience (required)
- Experience utilizing CMMS (required)
- Experience with reliability excellence and preventative/predictive systems (required)
- Lean experience (preferred)
- BMS experience (preferred)
- DCS/PLC knowledge (preferred)
