Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
  • Utilizes leadership skills to promote a safe and collaborative work environment for all team members
  • Oversees housekeeping activities for the shop, ensuring organization and promoting excellence
  • Implements spare parts organization and a robust spare parts tracking system
  • PARTNERS WITH THE MAINTENANCE TEAM TO ENSURE THE APPROPRIATE MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL SKILL SETS ARE DEVELOPED OR ACQUIRED
  • Develops improvement processes to reduce cost and improve plant operating efficiency
  • Maintains cost control to support facility and organizational goals
  • TAKES ON ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS ASSIGNED TO SUPPORT THE TEAM AND ORGANIZATION

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering (required)

Experience

  • 10+ years of manufacturing/industrial experience (required)
  • 5+ years of maintenance supervision experience (required)
  • Experience utilizing CMMS (required)
  • Experience with reliability excellence and preventative/predictive systems (required)
  • Lean experience (preferred)
  • BMS experience (preferred)
  • DCS/PLC knowledge (preferred)
