Manager, Machine Learning

Responsibilities

• Own the full model lifecycle from requirements to monitoring
• Translate business problems into ML solutions and define success metrics
• Design and maintain feature engineering pipelines
• Drive experiment design and ensure methodological rigor
• Monitor model performance and manage retraining strategies
• Cultivate a culture of learning and collaboration within teams
• Conduct design and code reviews to elevate technical standards
• Mentor and coach data scientists for skill development

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in building and deploying ML systems
• 2+ years managing and mentoring ML teams
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Deep understanding of ML fundamentals such as model selection and evaluation
• Hands-on experience with frameworks like PyTorch and XGBoost
• Strong leadership abilities for developing ML talent
• Excellent stakeholder management skills

Pay

$180,000 – $210,000 annually
