Manager, MAC Pricing and Analytics

Mission

This position is responsible for drug level pricing across our Funded and Discount Card books of business. Will ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with client and pharmacy obligations while maximizing aggregate Gross Profit.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain our MAC series to ensure our lists include the appropriate drugs while allowing WellDyne the flexibility to hit client and pharmacy guarantees
  • Manage funded MAC lists to ensure value received from Integrated Cash and to assist PricingPerformance in removing Client overperformance and ensuring Client underperformance is within target band
  • Set discount card pricing strategy in consultation with others across the Supply Chain organization and create the necessary price files to execute on the strategy
  • Lead Discount Card performance monitoring, with ongoing review of reporting on pharmacy and client-side pricing for all networks and clients to identify and correct issues
  • Affordability state compliance and respond to requests from state regulatory agencies
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities that intersect with drug-level pricing
  • Analyze claim pricing and manipulate large sets of data through SQL queries and Excel formulas
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3+ years’ experience in pricing/financial analytics, at least one of which included supervisory responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Fluency in PBM value levers and intersection with MAC management and other drug pricing activity
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management in an effective manner
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (nested and dynamic array formulas, logical formula chains, pivot tables)
  • Understanding of data structures and proficiency in SQL and Tableau
  • Must be able to contribute independently as well as support and contribute to the achievement of team goals

Work Environment / Physical Demands

This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment. May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers/clients. Some travel may be required.
