About the Role
Work Model: Hybrid
Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours; average 40 hours/week with overtime as required
Travel Requirements: Minimal

The Manager, LTL Procurement supports day-to-day execution of LTL sourcing events, contract administration, KPI tracking, and carrier management across Odyssey's business units. This role plays a key part in delivering cost-effective, service-aligned transportation solutions by supporting procurement strategy, maintaining LSP relationships, and ensuring adherence to procurement and corporate governance processes.
Responsibilities
- Procurement Execution
- Conduct LTL sourcing events including bid collection, rate reviews, benchmarking, and accessorial analysis.
- Prepare negotiation materials and support planning for contractual updates and rate adjustments.
- Carrier & Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain strong working relationships with LSPs and support day-to-day carrier engagement, tracking and analyzing carrier KPIs to ensure compliance with service expectations.
- Escalate performance issues and participate in corrective action planning, collaborating with internal business stakeholders to meet cost, margin, and service goals.
- Data, Reporting & Compliance
- Support preparation and maintenance of routing data, pricing tables, and procurement documentation, ensuring adherence to procurement processes, policies, and compliance standards.
- Provide analytical reporting to support strategic decision-making, including spend analysis, KPI reporting, and cost modeling.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Master Data, Logistics, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure alignment between procurement actions and operational execution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the LTL procurement process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Supply Chain or Business preferred
- 5+ years of logistics or supply chain experience; 3+ years of LTL transportation-related procurement experience preferred (sourcing, contracting, supplier management)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
- Solid understanding of LTL fundamentals (rates, accessorials, service models)
- Strong communication skills, with a desire to learn and grow within strategic procurement
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, time management, and personal accountability
