About the role
The Manager, Logistics oversees the efficient operation of all logistics functions within the company. This includes managing inventory levels, coordinating transportation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Coordinate with external vendors and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to logistics operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with logistics software and tools such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
