Manager, Loads & Dynamics

About the role

The Manager, Loads & Dynamics will support the development, analysis, and verification of dynamic systems for next-generation human-rated space stations and spacecraft. Reporting to the Senior Director of Structures & Dynamics, this role requires solid technical expertise in spacecraft or launch vehicle dynamics, emerging leadership capabilities, and experience contributing to hardware development in fast-paced aerospace environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, analysis, and verification of dynamic systems for next-generation human-rated space stations and spacecraft.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of spacecraft or launch vehicle dynamics models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on system requirements and performance metrics.
• Lead the analysis and validation of dynamic system models to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Develop and maintain documentation for dynamic system models and processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in spacecraft or launch vehicle dynamics.
• Experience with spacecraft or launch vehicle dynamics modeling software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading dynamic system projects.
• Experience with spacecraft or launch vehicle dynamics testing and validation.
• Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations.
