Manager, Leadership Development - Term

About the role

The Manager, Leadership Development (50%) supports a cohort of 10-12 corps members in St. Louis, MO, focusing on their instructional growth and leadership development. They collaborate with regional and national partners to drive impact through teacher leadership coaching, school and community partnerships, and group learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, data-driven coaching to corps members to enhance their instructional skills and promote both academic and social-emotional growth in students.
• Collaborate with school staff to support corps members' learning and development goals, ensuring clear communication and proactive problem-solving.
• Implement group learning experiences tailored to the needs of your corps members and aligned with regional and national priorities.
• Operate with a deep understanding of shared programmatic metrics and goals, guiding your work, monitoring progress towards outcomes, and evolving your actions as necessary.
• Serve as an "all hands on deck" team member, adding capacity to projects and initiatives as they arise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of relevant experience, with specific expertise in coaching and/or developing adults
• Experience coaching and advising capable and competent leaders through complex challenges towards impact
• Flexible hours with some nights and weekends, willing to travel 1-2 times per year for conferences
