Manager - Large Format Digital Printing

About the Role

Riot Creative Imaging, a division of ARC Document Solutions, is seeking a Large Format Digital Printing Manager to oversee all phases of production, manufacturing, and delivery. This working manager role involves managing P&L statements, financial follow-through, scheduling, estimating, quality control, pre-press, delivery, and installation. The manager will supervise the production team, collaborate with internal teams and vendors, and ensure projects meet client specifications and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate production and distribution of all work in the wide format department.
• Analyze information and evaluate results to solve problems and choose the best solutions.
• Develop specific goals to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
• Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification.
• Enlist employee suggestions and involvement in process improvements.
• Manage, coach, and cross-train all personnel.
• Exhibit relationship-building skills to support the sales and operations team.
• Resolve internal and external conflicts.
• Attend management meetings and complete daily timecard approvals.
• Foster a safe work environment, including adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.
• Handle disciplinary actions and annual evaluations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience managing in a large format print production environment.
• Solid working knowledge of large format printing, finishing processes, and materials.
• Understanding of the movement of materials through the manufacturing process.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft, and Adobe Suite.
• Ability to use and read a standard tape measure.
• Exceptional math skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Occasional availability for late nights and weekends.
• High School diploma or GED required; college graduate preferred.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of P&L statements.
• Ability to read and work with abstract designs, elevation plans, or blueprints.
