About the role

The Clinical Lab Quality Manager oversees laboratory personnel, instrumentation, and supplies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and operational policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain licenses and manage staff performance
• Ensure quality control and improvement plans
• Collaborate with leadership to meet accreditation requirements such as CLIA, CAP, TJC, OSHA, and AABB
• Manage departmental budgets and resources
• Supervise phlebotomy, microbiology, and pathology staff
• Develop departmental plans aligned with organizational goals
• Ensure safety procedures are followed

Qualifications

• A minimum of four years of clinical laboratory experience
• Two years in leadership
• CLS license
• Knowledge of computer, purchasing, and financial skills
