Responsibilities
- Lead and develop IT Operations teams: Coach, mentor, and develop network administration and help desk staff; set performance expectations and service objectives; participate in hiring and workforce planning.
- Manage IT infrastructure and operations: Oversee networking, servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, and end‑user computing; ensure system stability, security, and availability; handle documentation, asset management, physical security; lead technology implementations for new branches and facilities.
- Lead incident response and system availability: Serve as primary escalation point for major incidents and outages; coordinate issue resolution; manage on‑call rotations and maintain incident‑response standards.
- Deliver excellent end‑user support: Oversee support for computers, printers, scanners, desktop software; establish and improve SLAs, KPIs, and customer‑satisfaction measures.
- Drive continuous improvement: Support disaster‑recovery readiness, infrastructure monitoring, change execution, and modernization; coordinate upgrades and cross‑functional initiatives; partner with cybersecurity, project management, and business teams; identify opportunities to strengthen reliability, security, resiliency, and efficiency.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Five to seven years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, and end‑user support.
- Experience managing incident response, escalations, and after‑hours/on‑call support.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, networking, servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, and end‑user computing environments.
- Experience monitoring service levels, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Preferred: People‑management or supervisory experience.
- Preferred: Experience with Cisco network support.
- Preferred: Experience supporting branch‑based or multi‑site organizations.
- Preferred: Relevant technical certifications or an advanced degree.
