What you will do
- Build new processes that bring together merchandising and inventory management to accurately forecast demand created by our merchandising strategy.
- Own a roadmap of testing ideas for how to merchandise the member experience in the UI and work closely with product and engineering to execute these ideas.
- Conceptualize and work with engineering to build new tools and reports that help accurately forecast inventory needs based on a variety of relevant factors.
- Owns the cycle project plan for all inventory tasks that organize the cross-functional team members required to develop our order demand forecasts.
- Embrace an analytical mindset to create and share reports that track inventory and allow us to become more nimble through quick decision-making.
- Define a strategy for how we manage our inventory that lines up with clear business objectives.
- Compile and share out member insights through surveys, social listening, customer service contacts, and other channels to create actionable learnings and next steps.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams like Product and Operations to share helpful insights and implement new ideas.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in inventory management, product merchandising, or retail analytics, ideally at a subscription service.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience building new reports or processes to improve performance.
- Thrives working in a fast-paced, iterative environment, and ready to work hard.
- Creative and interested in coming up with new ideas.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Experience managing and mentoring junior employees.
- A love of reading and contemporary fiction.
- Current or past experience as a member of BOTM is a strong plus.
Pay
Salary range: $100,000 to $140,000
