About the role

The Manager, Innovation Finance will lead financial analysis for ONE Hershey innovation across CMG, Salty, and Functional Snacking, helping shape strategic decisions through clear, concise financial storytelling. In this role, you will lead and coach a team of four analysts, partner cross-functionally with key business partners, and influence leadership decisions by identifying P&L opportunities that support profitable, sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of analysts responsible for preparing Innovation P&Ls, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery to cross-functional partners.
  • Provide strategic guidance and analytical rigor on key innovation projects, anticipating leadership questions and shaping assumptions, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Project Management, Marketing, Operations, Business Development, Engineering, and other areas to identify P&L opportunities and influence innovation decisions.
  • Own mix reporting end-to-end, translating results into insights that increase visibility into financial implications and support continued profitable growth.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, concise, and relevant stories for stakeholders, leveraging advanced PowerPoint and think-cell skills while streamlining and automating where possible.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of business experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and business/financial acumen, with the ability to drive P&L insights.
  • Ability to produce accurate results and set direction for a team in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners and senior leaders through clear financial insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in think-cell within PowerPoint, with the ability to tell a clear, concise, and relevant story for stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including above-average Excel skills.
