Manager, Information Security, CX
Position Summary
The Manager, Security Operations, is responsible for leading operational security and compliance activities supporting regulated environments, including FedRAMP-authorized systems and PCI-regulated environments. This role oversees vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, audit support, security readiness activities, and compliance operations across infrastructure and product environments.
This position leads the Security Operations team and works cross-functionally with Security, Infrastructure, Product Engineering, Platform Operations, Compliance, and external assessors to ensure security risks, compliance obligations, and operational control requirements are identified, communicated, tracked, and remediated appropriately.
The role requires a combination of technical security knowledge, operational leadership, organizational discipline, and strong cross-functional coordination skills.
Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Oversee vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, audit support, security readiness activities, and compliance operations across infrastructure and product environments.
- Lead the Security Operations team and work cross-functionally with Security, Infrastructure, Product Engineering, Platform Operations, Compliance, and external assessors to ensure security risks, compliance obligations, and operational control requirements are identified, communicated, tracked, and remediated appropriately.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with external assessors to address findings and improve security posture.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
- Monitor security incidents and escalates issues as necessary.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on security best practices.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of security strategies and plans.
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on operational security and compliance.
- Experience with FedRAMP and PCI-DSS regulations.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with incident response and threat intelligence.
