About the role
We are seeking a Manager, Influencer Strategy to join our west coast team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the influencer landscape and experience developing and executing both integrated and influencer-led campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Own executional leadership of multiple client programs, budgets, and plans.
- Maintain daily client contact, serving as a trusted advisor.
- Facilitate cross-functional team integration (strategy, creative, integrated media specialists, influencer).
- Translate strategies into tactical plans, ensuring team deliverables align with client objectives.
- Develop messaging and oversee integrated media strategies to drive awareness with target audiences.
- Proactively suggest improvements and new ideas to exceed client expectations using industry knowledge.
- Demonstrate financial acumen in budgeting, billing, and staffing.
- Craft influencer strategies for yearlong plans and product launches, with a focus on luxury lifestyle, food, and design.
- Research, vet, contract, and manage relationships with influencer talent.
- Develop influencer briefing materials and oversee content creation.
- Monitor influencer content performance, track against KPIs, and prepare detailed recaps.
- Execute influencer strategies and build relationships with influencers and third-party agents.
- Identify ad hoc influencer opportunities from the current news cycle.
- Provide daily client communication and basic counsel.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations.
- Proof and edit client-related documents.
- Manage client and team resources around major campaigns and product launches.
- Mentor junior staff.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience with expertise in the consumer marketing space.
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and strong storytelling skills.
- Ability to understand what makes a story compelling and identify emerging brand trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management: ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work well in teams or independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with media databases, social tracking tools, and influencer management systems is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering precise and high-quality work.
- Demonstrated passion for influencer marketing, both personally and professionally.
- Expertise in social platforms, user behaviors, and emerging trends.
Pay
Salary range: $74,000 – $85,000. Individual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, market considerations, and budgetary constraints.
Schedule
Omnicom requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days per week, with potential for increased in-office requirements over time.
