Summary
The HR Manager, Inclusion, Culture & Community is a key role within The Freeman Company, focusing on fostering an inclusive and belonging culture. This role supports the Employee Experience team and works across the business to enhance inclusion, activate Business Resource Groups (BRGs), and strengthen connections with the communities we serve.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Partners with HR and business leaders to develop and execute Inclusion and Belonging strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Leverages data and employee feedback to design and facilitate learning experiences and awareness campaigns.
Tracks and reports on Inclusion and Belonging metrics and OKRs, communicating progress to leadership.
Applies best practices in Inclusion and Belonging to drive adoption and measurable impact.
Champions psychological safety and employee voice, providing tools and practices for inclusive environments.
Evolves Business Resource Groups (BRGs) to align with talent development, leadership engagement, and enterprise business impact.
Embeds Inclusion and Belonging principles into key employee lifecycle moments, including onboarding, development, and performance.
Develops and activates programming to strengthen belonging and connection across The Freeman Company’s workforce, including hybrid, remote, and non-desk environments.
Connects Inclusion and Belonging initiatives with the company’s social impact strategy and community investments.
Manages external partnerships to advance shared goals and integrate responsible ownership values into employee-facing programs.
Represents The Freeman Company in external Inclusion and community forums, contributing to the company's reputation as an active and committed partner.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university with a concentration in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field.
Relevant experience in Inclusion, Belonging, Culture, HR, community engagement, or a related people-focused role.
5-7 years of progressive experience in Inclusion, Belonging, Culture, HR, community engagement, or a related people-focused role.
Experience managing Inclusion and Belonging programs and/or business/employee resource or affinity groups.
Experience working in a matrixed or complex organization.
Inclusion, Employee Experience, Organizational Effectiveness, or HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent).
Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong project and program management skills.
An analytical mindset, comfortable using data, surveys, and listening tools to inform strategy and measure impact.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
