About the role
The Manager in Training will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, training new employees, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a retail setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory management and ensure stock levels are maintained
- Train and mentor new employees to ensure they are equipped to handle customer service and operational tasks
- Assist in planning and executing promotional events to increase sales and customer engagement
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with other departments to improve store efficiency and customer experience
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in retail or a related field
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with some college coursework
Qualifications
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Knowledge of retail operations and customer service best practices
