Role Description

The Manager In Training role at The Buckle, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position located in Pearland, TX. This role involves learning and supporting all aspects of store operations, including supervising daily activities, assisting with scheduling, and ensuring that company standards are consistently met. The Manager In Training will engage with guests on the sales floor, provide excellent customer service, and promote Buckle’s products and brand. Daily responsibilities include assisting with teammate coaching, supporting training and development, helping with visual merchandising, and contributing to sales goals. The role also includes working closely with store leadership to learn management responsibilities such as performance feedback, inventory processes, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Strong Supervisory Skills with the ability to support and guide a retail team.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests and teammates at all levels.
• Experience or interest in Training & Development and Training to support teammate growth.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Interest in fashion and retail trends, with a goal-oriented and sales-driven mindset.
• Comfort with basic technology and point-of-sale systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous retail or leadership experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and grow in a management career is essential.
