About the role

Manager in Training (MIT) is a training program designed to allow the associate to learn every segment of our business and culture. Once training is successfully completed, the candidate will have an opportunity to run his or her own branch.

Requirements

• Preferably a 4-year BS in Marketing/Sales or Business Degree
• Two years of industry (or industry-related) experience in Building Materials, Home Building, or Remodeling
• Two years of prior management experience (preferably in the building material distribution industry)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about our business
• Excellent customer service, management, and organizational skills
• Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ethical and honest
• Dependable with a current state-issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Legally entitled to work in the United States
• Able to pass a company-required drug test
• Able to read, speak, and write English to communicate with vendors, customers, and employees

Skills

• Residential & Commercial Roofing
• Residential Windows, Entry Doors & Exterior Siding
• Experience selling building materials, particularly roofing products, to a local contractor base

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
