About The Role

Manager in Training (MIT) is a comprehensive training program aimed at equipping associates with the skills necessary to manage a retail location effectively. Upon successful completion, candidates will be prepared to take on managerial roles as opportunities arise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with and train the team of sales consultants and administrative support staff to achieve results within the sales center.
  • Train and develop team members for both current roles and future career growth.
  • Coordinate services for customers with contractors, the factory, and lenders.
  • Understand and manage record keeping and customer files, including corporate files, lender agreements, and operational documentation.
  • Collaborate with the GM to oversee sales performance, profitability, customer satisfaction, and referral generation.
  • Ensure the profitability of the sales center and implement the company's sales system.
  • Operate ethically, adhering to the company's Code of Conduct and legal practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of financing options and market trends, and stay informed about competitors.
  • Coach and develop the team, focusing on effective selling, leadership, and customer relationships.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to generate leads and maintain professional business activities throughout the sales process.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Industry-related experience required.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
