Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute the Mike’s Purpose, and deliver on our Team Member Promise.
  • Ensure all customers leave satisfied by maintaining acceptable wash quality, staffing, and professionally handling customer complaints and damages.
  • Aid the General Manager in achieving location goals.
  • Ensure the location operates according to Mike’s Carwash standards and guidelines.
  • Complete location orientation and training checklists.
  • Ongoing coaching and training as needed, including S.O.C. completion and delivery on a weekly basis.
  • Document and deliver feedback regarding performance and disciplinary items observed during shifts.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all carwash areas, both visible and not.
  • Participate in a structured management training program.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Work Schedule

  • Must work all scheduled shifts.
  • Must work at least five days and 40 hours each week, including every other weekend (unless otherwise approved).
  • Capable of closing at least two nights each week.
  • Capable of opening one morning each week (on your own, Monday-Thursday only).
  • Work five days the week leading up to Christmas.
  • Ability to transfer between stores within market.

Physical Demands

  • Communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Hear at a conversational level.
  • Use vision for depth perception and to distinguish between basic shades and colors.
  • Continuous standing or walking.
  • Sit, stoop, reach, and twist at the waist while rotating.
  • Continuous repetitive movements, use hands for gripping pressure, and operate hand and foot controls.
  • Lift up to 50lbs. for up to 3 feet.
  • Pull up to 10lbs. for up to 10 feet and carry up to 50lbs. for 10 feet.
  • Repetitive bending, kneeling, and balancing.
  • Rarely climb stairs and ladders.

Work Environment

  • Occasionally work with machinery with moving parts and wear gloves.
  • Continuously work outdoors in temperatures ranging from 0-100 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Frequently work with chemicals and wear eye or hearing protection.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Reasoning and Development: Ability to deal with practical problems and implement solutions.
  • Mathematical Development: Ability to score 80% on Money Handling Skills Assessment without a calculator.
  • Language Development: Ability to read product manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures, and use understandable English; speak with poise and confidence.
