About the Role

We are seeking a Store Manager to join our team at 102 W Galbreath Way, Ritzville, Washington 99169. The Store Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and train positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage, and assign tasks to ensure the site is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well-kept based on Company standards.
• Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisor.
• Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain site image.
• Implement non-discriminatory management skills while hiring, training, counseling, motivating, and separating employees.
• Develop positive and professional relationships with all suppliers.
• Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner.
• Promote and ensure a safe, positive public image within the neighboring community.
• Prepare on-going and timely performance appraisals for all employees, providing proper performance-based feedback.
• Train all employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Evaluate and develop specific action plans to address site needs and reach desired objectives.
• Organize and maintain all site files and manuals.
• Manage and supervise store employees to ensure accurate and timely completion of reports.
• Ensure all merchandise is stocked, attractively displayed, and priced correctly.
• Ensure all required employment-related posters and signs are easily accessible to employees.
• Analyze daily sales and expense information, taking appropriate action to maximize sales and net profits.
• Budget and forecast P&L lines, understand and manage merchandise margins.
• Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train employees on equipment, tools, and materials.
• Ability to use a computer for analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, and counseling notices.
• Valid driver’s license and adequate transportation to/from bank and corporate management meetings.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English.

Working Conditions

• Work is primarily indoors but may require outdoor tasks like cleaning parking lots, gas pumps, and taking out garbage.

• Occasional noise exposure.
• Work with minimal direction and supervision.

Pay

Hiring Range: $21.32 to $23.32
