Manager in Development
About the role
We are seeking motivated individuals with a passion for outdoor work and a drive to lead to join our Manager in Development program at Yellowstone Landscape. This program provides aspiring leaders with hands-on experience, comprehensive training, and mentorship from industry experts across all aspects of the landscape industry, including maintenance, construction, design, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and plant identification. This position puts you on the path for a management role.
Responsibilities
- Work with a mentor to develop your own management style
- Excel beyond textbook learning through hands-on fieldwork with crews
- Participate in monthly Branch Management meetings and review company financials
- Engage in professional development opportunities to build skills and confidence
- Learn effective client interaction and communication
- Assist with job setup, client setup, and crew assignments
- Create proposals and assist with sales
- Operate safely and learn company software (Aspire and others)
Requirements
- Certificates, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Plant Science, Horticultural Sciences, Business, or related field preferred
- Interest in learning all aspects of the landscape management industry
- Can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Clean driving record
- Strong communication skills
