Manager I, Wastewater Treatment Plant Landfill

Job Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Manages personnel and daily operations of plant to maintain optimum disposal flow.
• Schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish activities.
• Reviews and evaluates work to ensure quality, timeliness, and quality control in adherence to policies and procedures.
• Fulfills purchasing function, including purchasing supplies, maintaining purchase order log, and reviewing P-card transactions, for the treatment plant.
• Assembles and analyzes data. Tests and monitors results and creates appropriate reports.
• Serves as a liaison between plant and vendors, contractors, management, security, and others.
• Executes necessary precautions to ensure safety and compliance with Company, OSHA, and other standards and regulations.
• Oversees personnel needs of the department including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance.
• Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• No experience or equivalent experience.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
• No experience or equivalent experience.
• State Wastewater Operator Certificate (Class D-1 or higher).
