Responsibilities

  • Oversees the work of a team that provides consultative guidance to managers and employees on issues related to benefits, compensation, payroll, organizational development, workforce or succession planning, training, and/or performance management.
  • Ensures that policies applied by each business unit, division, or profit center comply with policies and procedures as established by the organization.
  • Develops goals and tracks performance against key indicators, assesses departmental performance, and develops and implements process improvements or enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of related experience in HR and Shared Services
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience
  • Excellent customer/employee service skills
  • Highly developed oral and written communications skills with the ability to effectively convey information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and effectively execute tasks within a given deadline
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root cause of an issue
  • Strategic thinker and innovative
