Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a general professional field, typically obtained through four (4) years of college, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Experience: Four (4) or more years of poultry management–related experience preferred.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals using available computer programs.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of: Four (4)+ salaried team members Approximately 40+ hourly team members

Travel

• Domestic travel approximately four (4) times per year.

Biosecurity Requirements

• Shower-in/shower-out procedures, which may include multiple showers during the workday.
• The Company provides all required clothing and footwear.
• No jewelry may be worn except approved medical ID jewelry.
• Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with avian species (chickens, ducks, birds).
• Must follow the Company Animal Welfare Policy at all times.
• Must follow all Cobb Farms Hatcheries Biosecurity Standards.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk, and hear.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment

• Must follow all required safety procedures and wear designated personal protective equipment when visiting facilities.
