About the role

The Manager, Graphics/VR role at Zonda is responsible for leading a team of Graphics Project Managers to bring Zonda's visual and immersive products to life. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and people leadership, focusing on operational excellence and delivering projects with precision, creativity, and consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Inspire: Manage, coach, and develop a team of Graphics Project Managers. Oversee project assignments and performance to ensure deadlines and quality are met. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with Co-manager, Production, and Sales leadership to align project delivery with business goals.

  • Drive Technical & Operational Excellence: Serve as the go-to expert for graphics production workflows and our content management system. Establish and refine best practices for project kick-off, execution, QA, and delivery. Identify and resolve complex production challenges across multiple product lines. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and consistency across the team.

  • Oversee Projects & Client Success: Manage key accounts strategically by overseeing clear, proactive communication to set and align client expectations. Monitor client satisfaction by soliciting feedback, responding swiftly, and adapting service delivery so clients feel understood, supported, and confident in the partnership. Support escalations in conjunction with the VP of Client Solutions – Virtual. Partner with Sales and Product teams to present capabilities and support business growth. Work with the Finance team to ensure that project advancement updates from Project Managers are timely and accurate for billing purposes and that tools and processes are well utilized.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Represent the Graphics PM function in cross-departmental planning and company-wide initiatives. Partner closely with Sales, Production, and Product teams to deliver integrated client solutions. Champion clear communication, streamlined processes, and operational alignment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of project management experience in visual production, media, or Prop Tech environments.

  • 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience.

  • Deep technical understanding of 3D visualization, rendering workflows, and production tools.

  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects through completion.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; PMP or similar certification preferred.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.

  • Knowledge of graphic design software and 3D modeling tools.

  • Experience with content management systems and project tracking tools.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
