Manager, Global Tax Strategy
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading. Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones.
We need to decide sections: Likely "About the role" (intro about Veralto and role), "Responsibilities" (list of duties), "Requirements" (essential requirements), "Qualifications" maybe "Preferred qualifications" (the plus items), "Benefits" (they list benefits), "Pay" (compensation range), maybe "Schedule" not present (no schedule specifics). Travel requirement mentioned but not schedule. So we can omit Schedule.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, unsolicited assistance, accommodation, etc. Also remove duplicated lines. Also remove "US ONLY:" etc? That's part of compensation details; we can keep compensation range but maybe drop the note about US ONLY? It's part of compensation details; we can keep the range and note about bonus pay. The note about "US ONLY: The below range reflects..." is substantive about compensation; we can keep it but maybe rephrase? We must preserve all substantive information; we can keep that sentence.
We must not include legal EEO etc. Also remove "Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages..." that's legal boilerplate; remove. Also remove "US residents: In any materials you submit..." that's accommodation/legal; remove. Also remove EEO statement and accommodation request lines. Also remove "Unsolicited Assistance" etc.
We need to keep the benefits: "Paid holidays and a permissive paid time off policy emphasizing flexibility and trust Bonus/incentive pay A flexible, remote-friendly work environment Ongoing investment in your career through dedicated training, on-the-job development, and coaching Total rewards that support your success at work and beyond, including comprehensive health benefits, a 401(k) savings plan with employer match, and associate wellbeing programming with rewards". Also later: "We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees." Might be duplicate; we can combine.
We need to output HTML fragment only, no or . Use
headings.
Let's extract content:
Intro paragraph: "Imagine yourself… Doing meaningful work that makes an everyday impact on the world around you. Joining a company with a proven track record of success and an exciting future. Contributing to a brighter, more sustainable future. At Veralto, our unifying purpose of Safeguarding the World’s Most Vital Resources™ is more than words: it’s a proven path towards positive change, improvement for our planet, and development for yourself. Whether we’re ensuring the continued availability of clean drinking water, protecting our waterways, or enhancing the traceability, color accuracy, and packaging of everyday essentials, the work we do every day contributes to a safer world and a more sustainable future. When you join Veralto’s vibrant global network of 14 operating companies and 17,000 associates, you join a unique culture and work environment where purpose meets possibility: where the work you do has an everyday impact on the resources and essentials we all rely on, and where you’ll have boundless opportunities to deepen your skillset, pursue your ambitions, and grow your career."
That's about the company and role; we can put under About the role
with
.
Then "We offer:" list: Paid holidays..., Bonus/incentive pay..., flexible remote-friendly..., Ongoing investment..., Total rewards... That's benefits. Could be under Benefits heading.
Then role description: "The Manager, Global Tax Strategy will partner with the global tax department, corporate functions, and operating company teams to support the development, execution, and documentation of Veralto’s global tax strategy. This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Tax Strategy. The role will primarily support global tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border structuring, transfer pricing, cash management, and legal entity initiatives. It will also build relationships across Corporate Development, Treasury, Controllership, Legal, FP&A, and operational teams. This position works closely with global stakeholders and may be structured as remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones, or hybrid with required presence at Veralto’s headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts. This role requires the ability to periodically travel domestically and internationally. The travel may vary but is anticipated to be on a quarterly basis. In this role, a typical day will look like: ..."
Then bullet list of duties: Strategy – Co-develop..., Strategic Business Partnering –, M&A –, Transfer pricing –, Cash Management –, International Tax Advisory –, Legal Entity Management –, Advisors and Budget Management –, Process Improvements –, Governance Framework –.
We can put under Responsibilities heading with
- .
Then "The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA and/or JD. At least 6 years of cross-border structuring experience involving U.S. and international tax rules and global tax planning concepts. Experience operating in a complex global enterprise and/or advising complex global enterprises through a major accounting or law firm. Working knowledge of US tax principles and US tax accounting (current and deferred tax) rules pursuant to ASC740. Ability to travel domestically and internationally". That's requirements.
Then "It would be a plus if you also possess M&A tax experience, including due diligence and pre-acquisition or post-acquisition planning. Transfer pricing, supply chain planning, or value chain transformation exposure. Financing structuring or global cash management experience. A master’s degree in Tax, an MBA, or another relevant advanced degree. Experience with tax technology, automation, or transformation solutions such as Alteryx." That's preferred qualifications; we can put under Qualifications or Skills heading. The instruction list includes Skills as possible heading. We'll use
Qualifications
for essential requirements? Actually they have Requirements and Qualifications separate. We'll put essential under Requirements, plus under Qualifications (or Skills). Let's do Requirements for essential, Qualifications for plus.
Then compensation: "With annual sales of $5.5 billion, Veralto is a global leader..." that's company info maybe not needed. Then "US ONLY: The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $135,000 - $155,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees." Then legal note about pay not wages etc - remove. Then US residents redaction - remove. Then EEO etc - remove. Then Unsolicited Assistance - remove.
We need to keep compensation range and bonus pay eligibility. Also maybe note about US ONLY etc is substantive; we can keep but it's a bit verbose. We'll keep the range and bonus pay.
We also have benefits already listed earlier; we might combine benefits under Benefits heading, not duplicate.
We must not include Schedule heading.
