Manager, Global Tax Accounting
Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Initially manage and eventually lead the preparation, review, and analysis of global income tax provisions, including US and foreign entities.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS (if applicable), and local statutory requirements for tax reporting.
- Cook up with external auditors and tax advisors during audits, including quarterly and annual financial statement reviews.
- Manage the documentation and disclosure requirements for income tax in financial statements and regulatory filings (10-K, 10-Q).
- Partner with internal and external resources to monitor changes in global tax legislation and accounting standards, assessing impact on provisions and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify tax optimization opportunities and support tax planning initiatives.
- Mentor and guide team members on technical tax accounting and reporting matters.
- Administer tax provision software and related systems.
- Contribute to and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

- Solid documentation and organizational abilities.
- A deep understanding of U.S. federal and state tax laws and GAAP.
- Ability to work independently and within teams under tight deadlines.
- Adaptable to dynamic environments and shifting priorities.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA and/or MST/MBT preferred.
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in a Big 4 firm and, ideally, time at a large corporation.
- Experience working with ERP Systems, preferably Oracle.
- Exposure to transfer pricing, international tax or intercompany accounting concepts preferred.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills. At Resmed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $114,000.00 - $142,000.00 - $170,000.00 USD.
