Manager - General Accounting / Project

This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a mission-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Supervise month-end and year-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare and oversee financial statements and analyses for decision-making
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
• Collaborate with teams to support revenue and expense accruals and budget explanations
• Oversee complex technical accounting processes like revenue recognition
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of accounting professionals
• Drive process improvements using data analytics tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting leadership roles
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
• Proven leadership skills; experience in building and managing teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with cross-functional collaboration experience

Pay

$100,000 – $130,000 annually
