Manager, Functional Transformation SAP

About the role

The Deloitte Enterprise Performance team works on enterprise technology projects, focusing on finance, supply chain, and IT operations. We collaborate with leading solution providers and leverage experience in strategy, process design, technology enablement, and operational services to deliver heart-of-the-business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support and advance SAP-enabled transformation initiatives across the implementation lifecycle.
• Lead functional delivery for large-scale SAP S/4HANA modernization programs, owning workstream execution from design through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Facilitate client workshops to define future-state business processes, drive fit-to-standard decisions, and influence stakeholders toward adoption of SAP leading practices and process standardization.
• Produce and govern core implementation deliverables, including solution designs, configuration rationale, test artifacts, cutover plans, deployment readiness materials, and training support.
• Partner with integration and data teams to plan interfaces, validate data migration readiness, and support accurate, controlled movement of data across systems and environments.
• Lead and support integrated testing activities across unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing, ensuring business requirements trace cleanly through scenarios, defects, fixes, and sign-off.
• Help clients strengthen ERP controls, audit readiness, and compliance by embedding controls into design, testing, cutover, and post-production processes from the start.
• Coordinate deployment and go-live readiness activities, including cutover planning, control migration considerations, issue resolution, training support, and early-life stabilization.
• Work across functional, technical, and program teams to deliver secure, scalable SAP solutions in regulated government settings, with flexibility to travel as needed to support client delivery.

Requirements

• Required: Bachelor's degree and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
• Required: 5+ years experience delivering SAP implementations, including hands-on participation in SAP S/4HANA transformations
• Required: 5+ years experience producing and/or governing core implementation deliverables (e.g., solution/design documentation, configuration rationale, test artifacts, cutover plans, deployment readiness materials)
• Required: 5+ years experience working in regulated environments with strong understanding of ERP controls, audit readiness, and compliance expectations
• Required: 1+ years experience partnering with integration and data teams on interfaces and data migration planning in complex ERP programs
• Required: 1+ years experience supporting integrated testing activities (e.g., Unit, SIT, UAT, etc.) for functional business process requirements
• Preferred: Active Secret Clearance
• Preferred: Experience supporting Department of Defense and/or U.S. Federal civilian agency enterprise resource planning modernization programs

Pay

$134,500 to $265,100 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
