About the role
In this role as Manager – FP&A business, you will report to the Lead Director of Corporate Affairs FP&A. You will be responsible for consolidating, reporting and the creation of management presentations and/or talking points for forecasts, budget and the strategic plan for the Legal business area as well as occasional FP&A support of Corporate Communications, Compliance and Government Affairs. This role will work closely with various leaders within the Business, as well as Finance, ensuring accurate reporting of forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans and providing senior leadership with the appropriate level of detail.
The successful candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, the skill to develop a deep understanding of expense allocations, and the ability to consolidate and report results to business partners and management. You must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, work independently with guidance from management, and deliver financial reporting and analysis on both regular and ad hoc frequencies, including creating financial models and supporting exhibits in PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate, report, and create management presentations and talking points for forecasts, budget, and strategic plans for the Legal business area
- Provide occasional FP&A support for Corporate Communications, Compliance, and Government Affairs
- Work closely with business and finance leaders to ensure accurate reporting of forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans
- Develop a deep understanding of expense allocations
- Deliver financial reporting and analysis on regular and ad-hoc frequencies
- Create financial models and supporting exhibits in PowerPoint
- Multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to work with all levels of colleagues, including managers and peers
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex financial concepts
- Willingness to travel up to 5% (including by plane)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Quantitative field; equivalent years of related professional work experience may substitute
- Ability to develop reporting and consolidate results for business partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading people and/or projects
- Deep understanding of financial systems (Hyperion, S4, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience in the healthcare/insurance industry
- Ability to interpret financial results within the context of the larger company strategy
- Effective written and interpersonal communication skills
Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $66,330.00 - $145,860.00. This pay range represents the base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
