Manager, Food Service

About the role

The Foodservice Manager will support and train the Operations Team of Minuteman Food Marts and Minuteman Kitchens. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, training, and supporting foodservice activities, training and supporting food and beverage programs, and managing KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Aid in meeting financial objectives based on annual budget forecasts
• Analyze variances, identify corrective actions, and monitor financial controls
• Develop and implement strategies to increase profitability
• Monitor and review financial information to ensure financial targets are met
• Assist in developing action plans for underperforming locations
• Maintain and manage KPIs daily, weekly, and monthly
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with store managers
• Train and develop store managers to execute the plan and develop skills
• Conduct annual reviews on direct reports
• Train, develop, and expand commissary programs and Little Caesars Express
• Develop and implement marketing, advertising, and public relations programs
• Evaluate program results and track changing demands
• Ensure foodservice standards are met through audits and evaluations
• Ensure safety in the workplace
• Support new program development, training, and rollouts
• Coordinate remodels, new builds, and technology/equipment upgrades
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and certifications
• Manage inventory processes to achieve cost/margin targets
• Review and analyze usage/sales reports and implement corrective actions

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma; College degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years multi-unit management experience in a QSR restaurant or high-volume retail/c-store with significant foodservice sales
• Detail-oriented and capable of standing for long periods of time
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperature ranges
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented, communicative, and able to work with all levels of the organization
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to work efficiently without direct supervision
• High level of integrity and dependability
• Ability to recruit, train, and retain successful teams
