Job Summary

Via Christi St. Francis is seeking a skilled individual to join our Nursing Administration team as a Staffing Analyst. This position will optimize our staffing pipeline, forecast capacity and demand, and drive financial stewardship.

About the Role

As a Staffing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our nursing staff is well-prepared to meet the needs of our patients. You will work closely with leadership to analyze data, develop strategies, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the Staffing Pipeline: Track agency spend, contract labor utilization, and onboarding timelines to ensure efficient hiring and cost management.
• Forecast Capacity & Demand: Analyze patient throughput, daily census trends, and LOS to accurately predict future bed capacity and staffing needs.
• Tell the Story Behind the Data: Design dynamic dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to communicate workforce metrics and operational constraints to leadership.
• Drive Financial Stewardship: Analyze labor variances against operational budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
