Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics or another related major
- Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years of people and/or project management
- Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries
- Experienced in at least one prominent actuarial modeling software platform, including but not limited to: Moodys GGY AXIS, FIS Prophet, Milliman ALFA/Integrate, Aon Benfield PathWise, Slope, PolySystems, among others.
- Strong writing, presentation, conceptual, analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills
- A proven ability to manage time while working on multiple, often shifting, projects, and the confidence to work both collaboratively and independently under pressure
- Willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs
Qualifications

Skills
- Consistently deliver quality client services and drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients in tackling unique and complex business issues using innovative solution development, leadership and a strong EY team.
- Cultivate and manage business development opportunities, understanding EY and its service lines and actively assessing ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks and develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
- Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge, maintain good business acumen and remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
- Understand/communicate complex actuarial issues. Stay informed of and apply professional standards and firm policies (e.g., Actuarial Standards of Practice).
- Develop a strong personal brand and enhance the EY brand by writing articles, participating in industry groups and speaking at seminars
- Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment, counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members in real time.

Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $146,500 to $268,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $175,700 to $305,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
Schedule
We offer a flexible schedule where most people in external, client serving roles work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
